Working within a Pandemic



I look forward to welcoming you to my treatment room. In order for us both to feel safe I am putting in place a few new measures.

  • Before making an initial appointment, I will first speak to you on the
    phone so we can both be clear about how best we can work together
    and assess any risks.

  • I will be checking my temperature daily and will continue to avoid large
    gatherings or crowded places.

  • I will check in with you 24 hours before your appt to confirm my own
    health and ask after yours. Assuming we are both well to the best of our
    knowledge I am happy to see you.

  • If you have travelled abroad, I ask you to wait 2 weeks before coming to
    see me.

  • I am only seeing low risk clients so if you are living with or regularly
    seeing someone who is vulnerable, I suggest we have an online
    appointment where I can teach you the self-care massage and hear your
    story.

  • On arrival you may either use the alcohol hand sanitizer by the front
    door or you will be invited to wash your hands in the bathroom.

  • Consultations can be either held on-line prior to your face to face appt
    or in a well, ventilated room at a distance of 2m.

  • I will not provide refreshments, please bring your own drinks.

  • We will then move to the treatment room where you will receive your
    hands on therapy in a session not exceeding 1 hour.

  • I am happy to wear a mask/visor whilst I treat you but do not require
    you to wear one.

  • I intend to see no more than 2 clients a day in order to give me time to
    thoroughly clean and air my workspace between clients.

  • All areas clients come into contact with will be cleaned with a bleach
    solution or alcohol sanitiser before and after their visit. To include gate
    handle, doorbell, bathroom, treatment room and card reader.

  • I will change my clothes immediately after each client and wash all
    linens separately to household washes at 90C temperature.

  • I will have records of all clients details for track and trace.

  • If I come into contact with anyone who either tests positive for COVID19
    or thinks they may have it, I will not see clients for 2 weeks. I will share
    that information with you if we have been together. I ask you to do the
    same.
